The UHF repeater will be down for al least a couple more weeks until the new one arrives. The Keep it Simple Station is up and running. You may use it either in person at the SAV or via remote control using Ham Radio Delux.
If your password and call authenticate and your receive the message,
"Welcome to the HRD Remote Access Server
Please don't break anything!"
AND you are unable to connect to the radio using HRD....
the last station user probably turned OFF the radio.
Someone will need to go to the SAV Radio Shack (during NORMAL business hours) and personally turn the radio back on!
FYI:
The KISS station has nothing to do with any GVARC project.
It’s a project that Ray Soifer took on back in 2005.
He then wrote an article about it that appeared in the Amsat Journal.
The article is reprinted on our web site.
What is the status of the KISS setup and the UHF repeater? If they are down maybe a message in the web site might be nice. I see one for the .29 machine but that's all.

I got permission to use this picture of the Elephant Head repeater area on our website from one of the other clubs that also has equipment up there. It is dated from 2003 but is still good.
I figured since everyone has seen numerous pictures of the site up close that they might want to see what the whole facility looks like from the air.
Thanks
